The villa complex consists of three separate units: the main building, which is two-storey, and the cottage that is next to it. It is situated in a 2-hectare landscaped garden with meadows and olive trees. This villa has 9 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms and can accommodate up to 18 people at a time. It also boasts a large terrace, modern kitchen, large pool, plenty of parking spaces, a large garden, and a cottage. You can even make your own "Chianina" meat, organic wine, and olive oil. It is a long distance from most shops so a car is necessary to travel around. This is the ideal place to enjoy a peaceful vacation.
All bedrooms are ensuite. Each bedroom is exquisitely designed and lavishly furnished to ensure a restful night. There are 8 bedrooms on the main floor. Two double bedrooms and one twin room are located on the ground floor. One of these rooms has easy access and a large, accessible bathroom. This is ideal for seniors or people with limited mobility. On the first floor, there are 5 additional bedrooms: 3 twin bedrooms and 2 suites with double bedrooms. Suite rooms also have direct access to large balconies and offer double bedrooms as well as a living area, double sofa beds, a bathroom, and a shower. All ensuite bathrooms have high quality fixtures like a bathtub, relaxing rain shower and toiletries.

Enjoy the vast grounds outdoors. Enjoy the fresh morning air and take morning walks in the 2-hectare garden, which is surrounded by olive trees and meadows. You can take a quick dip in the tranquil pool, which is located in the middle of the grounds. The sun-loungers next to the pool are a great place to relax and enjoy the sunshine. Enjoy the beautiful views and delicious food on the terrace. The cottage is ideal for couples who want privacy and is located right next to the main building. A double bedroom was available in the cottage, which had a comfortable bed and a satellite TV. Cottage also includes a bathroom, a shower room, a kitchen, and shady porch.
The inside of the home is charming with its spacious lounge, large kitchen, and cosy dining room. The large lounge features a fireplace, satellite TV, and plenty of ultra-plush sofas. It also offers stunning views. The elegantly crafted dining table can be used to entertain guests as well as for cooking.

You can also request additional services like extra cleaning, childcare, private chef services, tour arrangements and airport transfers. These services are subject to additional charges. There is ample private parking available for up to 8-10 vehicles. Paola, the friendly owner, can arrange for embroidery, cooking lessons, and gourmet meals on-site.
Villa Poggio can be found in Lucignano. It is an ancient medieval village near Val di Chiana and Umbria. Lucignano is a historic area. This old town has the charm of an old village and preserves traditional agricultural and craft methods. Visitors can enjoy a wide range of products, including honey wine and extra virgin olive oil. It is well-known for its furniture and ceramics, as well as jewelry. The village has many historic sites, including the Town Hall which houses a museum filled with precious objects, the Church of S.Franceso with frescoes of Bartolo Di Fredi and the Collegiate Church. It is located only 20km away from Cortona.
