Trullo La Dolina is a home you will want to return to again and again. Set within the gorgeous greenery of Apulia’s countryside, it’s a place where you can relax and unwind. It’s a world of tranquility that will completely refresh all those who are tired of their everyday work stress. A great choice for six guests, this traditional holiday rental has plenty of modern-day luxuries too that will please even the most demanding guests. Splash around in its private pool, fire up the barbecue, watch a movie with your family, and enjoy the heating and air conditioning depending on the season.
The attention to detail is apparent the moment you step through the gate and enter this private estate. Your privacy is guaranteed here as the entire house and all its facilities will be exclusively yours for the duration of your stay. Everything is in top condition. But the best part is the design of the house. It is a traditional trullo, which is a round stone building with a conical roof. Its traditional design continues inside as well. Each corner of the house is aesthetically pleasing.
This is a 2-bedroom villa that can comfortably sleep up to 6 guests. It has two buildings, with each housing one bedroom, thus ensuring plenty of space between the sleeping areas. Sometimes, we want extra space even when traveling with close friends or family. Both bedrooms have queen beds. Additionally, there is a sofa bed in the main house that can sleep two more people. The annex building is constructed entirely of stone.
The bedrooms offer simple homely comforts. Doors open directly to the wide garden in the front. Both the buildings have one bathroom each with showers, ensuring easy access to the guests.
This luxury property was imagined as an oasis of tranquility and peace. Welcoming green lawns and an orchard will greet you on arrival. Its lush setting is sure to please nature lovers. Watch the ever-changing colors of the landscape and the play of the sun and the clouds in the wide sky. The sunny terrace and the private swimming pool at its center are a great place to unwind and catch the views. Go for a swim to beat the mid-day heat. You will find many loungers where you can relax after a swim or simply sunbathe. There is an outdoor shower beside the pool.
The terrace also has a shaded corner with an outdoor dining table that seats the entire family. Open on all sides, this shaded zone offers outstanding nature views. On one side, there is a barbecue area. You will also find a central courtyard in this villa with an outdoor lounging space.
Returning to the house, there is a brightly colored and cushioned living room where you can sit comfortably and play board games. You will notice this soft blue and white color tone throughout the home. Many walls, especially in the annex, are stone cut, which are typically in the local style. Continuing from the living room, you will reach the kitchen where there are many cooking appliances. The villa owner has also kept tableware and glassware for your convenience. The dining area is just outside, on the shaded area of the terrace.

The bathrooms have towels and hair dryers. In the kitchen, you will find an oven, refrigerator, toaster, kettle, and dishwasher. The swimming pool is open from 14th April to 10th October. Apulia is not as popular as some other Italian travel destinations. But it’s a wonderful place to visit with plenty of history, nature, and culture. Take the town of Ostuni, for example. Referred to as the White City, it has classical Apulian whitewashed houses, cobblestoned streets, and an old cathedral. Borgo Antico Bistrot and La Locanda Del Macellaio are two good places to eat and drink in the city.
10/10Magnificent renovation of an old trulli set! Ideally located a few minutes from Ostuni, quiet in the middle of the countryside. Beautiful place, ideal for a family of 4-5 people. The “Wonderful Italy” agency in charge of rentals is very responsive!
10/10We had a wonderful stay at this house in the Ostuni countryside. It is private and peaceful with lots of entertaining space to enjoy like the pool and al fresco dining area. We enjoyed cooking meals and relaxing by the pool. We stayed for 3 nights using this as our base to explore nearby towns and beaches by car. The house is charming - a perfect mix of authentic Apulian home with renovated, modern comforts.
