Baglio Scannale is a large private rental villa that can sleep 11 guests in Sicily. A Baglio is an ancient building in the countryside and true to its name, this stunning luxury villa is surrounded by a Mediterranean garden where you will find many trees and a beautiful olive grove. The house goes back to the 19th century. It has since then been modernized many times for the comfort of the guests. However, the villa owner has done a commendable job of retaining many of its original designs, which is why the villa offers the wonderful ambiance of the times gone by.
Its period furnishings will surely please you. But you will also find modern facilities that will make your stay in the house comfortable. There is a private pool, games for your entertainment, outdoor/indoor dining areas, a well-equipped kitchen, and much more. It has a premium location in Sicily as well very close to the Sicilian Apennines and the Madonie Park. This neighborhood and the island of Sicily will surely dazzle you. It has many historical attractions, beautiful hikes, and scenic beaches. It’s a charming melting pot. You can visit them all easily from this holiday property.

The house has 7 bedrooms that can sleep 11 guests. These bedrooms are spread over two floors, with the ground floor having two of them. One of them has a double bed and the second a single bed. The second floor has the master suite, two bedrooms with double beds, and two with singles. This nice configuration of single beds and queen beds ensures that each guest will have something they prefer. The master suite has a family chapel.
There are 5 bathrooms. The ground floor has one en suite bathroom and the upper floor has two en suite bathrooms, one with a bathtub. You will love the stone walls in the bathrooms.

The first thing you will love about Baglio Scannale is its beautiful grounds. It is immersed in a large park with olive groves and a Mediterranean garden. You will definitely love walking through the greenery. One corner of the garden has a naturally shaded zone. You will find an outdoor seating area here with comfortable sofas so that you can relax and enjoy the views. It also has a beautiful lawn and an outdoor dining table for all the guests.
The private swimming pool is located in another gorgeous corner of the outdoors. It is surrounded by hills, tall trees, and a manicured lawn. You will find many loungers placed around the pool. There is a second, but smaller lounging area in another corner of the garden. It offers cozy seclusion for the times when you want to stay alone to introspect or maybe read a book.
Baglio Scannale has two living rooms. The main lounging area inside the house is on the upper floor. It has comfortable sofas, a dining table, and a fireplace. The smaller living room on the ground floor also has a sitting area, a period kitchen, and a ping pong table. They are both wonderfully decorated with period furnishings. All the rooms overlook the magnificent garden that surrounds the building.
The traditional wooden-beamed ceiling runs through the house. The large kitchen has many cooking appliances. You can cook yourself or ask for a professional chef. Tableware, glassware, pots, and pans are provided.
This family-friendly holiday villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Each room has ceiling fans. You will find a fireplace in the living area for those mountainside cool evenings. The bedrooms all have mosquito nets. There is a washing machine and a strong Wi-Fi connection. The kitchen has many modern appliances for your cooking. With an additional cost, Baglio Scannale’s housekeeping team will keep the property well-maintained, so you can relax and enjoy your holiday.
This traditional holiday home is located in northern Sicily between Palermo and Catania. It is on the edge of Madonie Park, which is a world heritage site. Parco delle Madonie is a massive park with a scenic mountain range, wildlife, medieval villages, and historic castles. You can hike through the hills and explore the villages. The beautiful coastline of Sicily is an easy drive from this rental villa.
