It is just minutes from beautiful Renaissance and medieval churches. Val D'Orcia, a Unesco World heritage site in 2004, was chosen for its natural and cultural beauty. The Via Francigena runs from the hills south to Siena to Monte Amiata, once a volcano. Guests will be able to see how strategic importance of this area and its connection to Siena is intertwined. This route was used by merchants and pilgrims since late Medieval times and helped to develop churches and monasteries such as Collegiata di San Quirico or the Abbey of Sant'Antimo.
A bowls field is located nearby, offering guests the chance to enjoy views of Castiglioncello del Trinoro (a medieval town perched on a hilltop), which is between 20 and 30 minute drive from other towns such as Pienza or Montepulciano. Castiglioncello del Trinoro offers a beautiful view of the Tuscan countryside. It's located in the Val d'Orcia, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. This charming village is the perfect destination for a relaxing getaway.
Pienza is a must-visit place because of its unique architectural style, stunning landscape and delicious local food. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a great example of Renaissance urban planning. The city is also home to a variety of churches, palaces and other buildings, as well as several museums. Its picturesque streets and squares make it a great destination for anyone looking for an enjoyable and memorable experience.
10/10A beautiful property overlooking what is a spectacular view! Very private and secluded and quiet. Sunsets are beyond amazing!! Everyone raves about the comfort of their bedrooms and the multiple sitting areas both inside and out which allowed our group of 8 to have quiet time, work or read uninterrupted. The Pool was a favorite area for everyone and we put the kitchen to good use multiple times only eating outside because the weather was perfect. We also had a chef come in and it was spectacular!!! Stay a week and enjoy you will not regret.
10/10My family and another family - 4 adults and 5 kids - spent a wonderful week in this beautiful villa. The house is very charming and has sweeping, gorgeous views of Tuscany. The infinity pool was stunning and so fun to make pizza in the pizza oven while swimming. Our favorite part was enjoying meals throughout the day in the outside veranda. The house was pristine and very clean, and we had daily housekeeping which helped keep things in order. We were a thirty minute drive to most places we wanted to visit, and an easy 2 hours or so from Rome's airport.
10/10This is a magical place. The view of the Tuscan hills never gets old. The house is great. All the rooms are large with great bathrooms. The pool is beautiful with that same amazing view. There are so many gorgeous towns to visit. We were there for 2 weeks and we ate at so many beautiful locations and spoke to so many kind and welcoming people. This was a dream trip for us!
