Villa Monticelli is a 3-storey farmhouse set within a 2-hectare fenced yard in the heart of Tuscany. It has 6 double bedrooms that can accommodate 14 guests and all the charms of an elegant vacation home. This residence was built in 2013 and exudes a vintage, Tuscany-inspired vibe. The residence overlooks the serene and beautiful Val D'Orcia, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Guests can enjoy privacy and serenity while enjoying the outdoors and the modern-style indoors. To give the home a unique character and flavor, the owner also included his own contemporary art collection. There are even elevators that can be used to get to the bedrooms. Enjoy the infinity pool and the beautiful vegetable and flower gardens outside. You can also relax on the charming patio to enjoy a meal and conversation.
Villa Monticelli has 6 bedrooms that can accommodate 14 people and each one is equipped with a private bathroom. Each room is equipped with king-sized beds. The elevator that has been integrated into the house makes it even more special. The upper floors offer guests breathtaking views of the valley. Guests who are on the lower floor have their own entrances to the home. In their air-conditioned privacy, guests can also access broadband internet and satellite TV channels from their bed.

The infinity pool measures 17mx5.m and is an absolute charmer. Guests can take a dip or swim in the turquoise waters. There is also an outdoor grill and pizza oven on the main patio that allow guests to have lots of fun barbecuing under the stars. Villa Monticelli is also home to a vegetable and fruit garden, as well as an orchard. The pool is the ideal spot for guests to enjoy the stunning views of Val D'Orcia. It stretches from the hills south to Siena, to the cone-shaped Monte Amiata, which was once a volcano.
The interior of the home is furnished with modern designer furniture, including custom-made armchairs and couches. There are also a variety of antiques and art on the walls. Two large living areas are available for entertaining, hosting parties, or just relaxing in front of the fireplace. The large dining room seats 14 people and guests have access to an additional space that can be used as an office. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped, with 6 large burners, 2 ovens and a microwave. It also has a large fridge and separate freezer. A basement houses a laundry area with two washing machines and dryer.
Daily cleaning at Villa Monticelli takes place in the morning for approximately 4 hours. Bed and bath linens get changed once per week. The garden and pool are maintained by the staff. Guests can request the services of a personal chef to prepare delicious authentic Tuscan dishes. You can also enjoy Italian pastries and coffee throughout the day. The property can host large celebrations and reunion events with advance booking. Guests can also harvest fresh vegetables from the garden and enjoy delicious, freshly prepared meals.
Villa Monticelli is situated in an area of gently rolling, cultivated hills and fields in unspoilt Val D'Orcia. This area has been listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites List in 2004 because of its cultural and natural beauty. This ancient heritage offers many opportunities for guests to explore.
The 3 km long white road that leads to Villa Monticelli runs through oak and beech woods, and borders the Grottos of St Francis as well as a small medieval convent dedicated to San Bartolomeo. The view overlooks the towns of Chianciano and Chiusi, Cortona, Citta Della Pive, as well as Trasimeno and Montepulciano. Guests will also be pleased to know that the closest train station is Chiusi. With Pienza, it's only 20 minutes away. Montepulciano can take 30 minutes, Montalcino takes 40 minutes.
